Argentina: Incentives & Business Travel

Argentina’s striking tourist attractions and contrasting geography make it an original destination for incentive travel. Its comprehensive infrastructure also makes it an ideal base for conventions, congresses and business travel.

The country boasts a wide variety of hotels equipped with the latest technology and facilities required by business travellers. There are also numerous travel agents in Argentina that specialise in corporate and group travel. Here are a few of our recommended business travel destinations:
Buenos Aires stands out for its tango and the surrounding Pampas. Tango classes and shows are an innovative way to entertain incentive groups. A day in the countryside on an authentic Argentine estancia, sampling the life of a gaucho, is also highly recommended. These activities can be combined easily with workshops and seminars in the city.
The unique and breathtaking Iguazú Falls, the greatest water spectacle on the Earth, is another ideal destination for corporate travel. These 275 waterfalls and exotic surrounding flora and fauna can be explored by foot, boat or overland expedition. The hotels in Puerto Iguazú boast exemplary corporate facilities.
In Mendoza there are wine experience programmes along the Wine Route that have been created with the business traveller in mind. For groups seeking adventure, this is the place for rafting, trekking, mountain biking, horse riding and skiing, during the winter.
In Patagonia’s Lake District, corporate groups can take part in tailor-made personal renewal programmes, team bonding days and training sessions. Further south, in El Calafate, there are numerous group activities on offer: ice trekking on the Perito Moreno glacier, boat trips on the Lago Argentino, bird watching and, of course, a typical Patagonian lamb roast, eaten outside at an estancia.
